Flynn Sandboards is a small family owned business based in Hamilton Hill, just south of Fremantle. Our goal is to build good quality products that we can share with others as well as enjoy ourselves as a family and with friends. As a family which is always down the beach swimming, surfing, camping and fishing, it was inevitable that we would be involved in sandboards. Established in 2023 Colin (dad) and Flynn (son) started researching bending wood and sourcing all the other components to build our first sandboards. Always looking for excuses to get out of Perth and into the country to feel the wind rushing through our hair as we scream down some steep dunes. Always looking for new ways to improve our products. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
What's with the sandsquach you ask? Well, a friend Pete and I were out sandboarding one day, hot and sweaty and he ate it and popped up covered in sand, reminded me of those fictional monsters out of the movies such as sashsquach/big foot. Hence the name was coined.
